Safety without surveillance

Security and privacy by design.

GateFlow strengthens access accountability without turning communities into surveillance systems. Human decisions stay explicit. Sensitive data stays scoped.

Foundations, not add-ons

Accountability is stronger when privacy is designed in.

Explicit authorization

The backend remains authoritative. Notifications prompt action but never grant entry. Every approval, admission, rejection, exit, override, and sensitive reveal is auditable.

Least privilege

Access is constrained by role, tenant, household, gate, device, and active assignment. Sensitive fields stay masked unless purpose and permission require a temporary reveal.

Resilient operations

Offline state and cache age are always visible. Cached verification is bounded, queued actions are idempotent, and estates retain a documented manual process.

Responsible disclosure

Report suspected vulnerabilities to security@gateflow.africa. Do not include visitor personal data in an initial report.

What that means day to day

Practical protections at the gate—not theatre.

Named guard accountsEvery action is attributed to a person and an active post—not a shared password.
Masked by defaultSensitive identity fields stay hidden at the gate unless a permitted reveal is required.
Estate isolationNo cross-property data leakage. Each community keeps its own membership and records.
Time-bound credentialsInvitations expire. Open-ended visitor access is never the default posture.

Honest boundaries

Software cannot guarantee safety. People still decide.

GateFlow supports verification, explicit authorization, traceability, and operational oversight. It does not replace guards, emergency services, estate procedures, or responsible human judgment—and it does not claim to prevent crime.

Trust, then rollout

Review security with your team—then pilot calmly.

Tell us about your estate and we’ll tailor a practical pilot plan. No commitment — just a conversation.
